Nigerians from all walks of life including the Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, celebrates he Eyo 2025 Festival.
The Eyo cultural festival popularly called ” Adamu Orisa” was used pay tribute to four distinguished personalities who have left an indelible mark on the history of Lagos state and Nigeria as it showcases beauty, glamour and style of Lagos African indigenous culture.
Four Honourees
The festival, which returns after 8 years, honours the legacies of three former late governors, Brigadier General Mobolaji Johnson, the first executive governor of Lagos state, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, third republic government, sir Michael Otedola and Iya Oloja General of Nigeria and mother of president, Alhaja Habibat Mogaji.
The Festival Features
The Eyo 2025 Festival is a celebration of the rich cultural heritage of Lagos and Nigeria, and the theme “Preserving Heritage, Celebrating Identity” highlights the importance of honouring the past while embracing the future.
