Bola_Tinubu @74

The Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is now 74 years old.
In a personal message to Nigerians, he expressed confidence that Nigeria will overcome its current challenges, declaring that his administration remains resolute in building a stronger, more prosperous, and resilient nation as he marked his 74th birthday.
President Tinubu said he chose to celebrate in a low-key manner, in keeping with the mood of the nation, while reaffirming his government’s determination to confront prevailing national difficulties with the support of citizens.
He said that as his administration approaches its third anniversary, he remains convinced that the country is on course to secure a brighter future for both present and future generations.
The Nigerian President noted that despite the challenges encountered since the launch of key reforms, there are already signs that the sacrifices being made are beginning to yield results.
Acknowledging Nigeria’s Progress
He acknowledged that the nation’s progress has not come without strain, citing the temporary setbacks triggered by the ongoing Middle East crisis, but maintained that Nigeria now experiences a visible “glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.”
“As I mark this special day, I am reminded of the challenges we’ve faced since we initiated our reforms. I’m glad that our sacrifices have not been in vain, as we can see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel, despite the temporary setback caused by the ongoing Middle East crisis.”
He stressed that the positive outcomes recorded so far should not be credited to him alone, his Renewed Hope team, or the government, but to the collective efforts, patriotism, solidarity, and support of Nigerians.
Appreciation To Nigerians
The President also expressed appreciation to citizens for the outpouring of goodwill messages, prayers, and public tributes in newspapers, radio, and television.
“Today, as I clock another year on the journey of life, I’m filled with joy and gratitude for the opportunity to serve this great nation. I want to take this moment to thank Nigerians for their messages, show of love, and prayers on the occasion of my 74th birthday. I thank all our citizens for their patriotism, solidarity, and support for our administration.
“To those who have taken space in newspapers or paid for airtime on radio and television to wish me well, I thank you immensely.”
He extended special gratitude to his wife, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, for her loving words, and to Vice President Kashim Shettima for his remarks in honour of the occasion.
“I must thank my wife, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, for her kind and loving words. I also thank Vice President Kashim Shettima for all he said about me,” President Tinubu said.
