Antony Joshua Car Wreckage

The Nigerian – British boxer and former Heavyweight Champion based in the UK,Anthony Joshua has survived a car crash along Lagos – Ibadan Expressway, Southwest Nigeria.
Two other persons in the car were reported dead as the crash vehicle hit a stationary truck at Makun city along the express highway.

According to the Nigerian Police and the Federal Road Safety Corp in Sagamu, Ogun State, Antony Joshua is stable in the hospital. There were five people in the Jeep. Two died and three people sustained injuries.
The bodies of the two deceased victims have been transferred to a morgue.
Investigations
Preliminary investigations by the Road Safety Corps indicate that the crash was caused by excessive speed and wrongful overtaking from the right-hand side, resulting in a collision with a stationary vehicle.
The Sector Commander in Ogun State, Corps Commander Akinwumi Fasakin, has ordered “a comprehensive investigation into the incident to determine the full circumstances surrounding the crash”.
Caution
Nigerian authorities have renewed calls for motorists to exercise caution, obey speed limits, and adhere strictly to traffic regulations, particularly on major highways, to reduce the risk of fatal accidents.
Antony Joshua’s parents are native of Sagamu, Ogun State, Southwest Nigeria.
