Ahmadiyya Calls for Muslims Unity -

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat of Nigeria, has called for the unity of Muslims globally to address the challenges facing the Muslim ummah from Gaza to other parts of the world.

Amir, Head Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat stated this at the end of a three day Islamic conference held at the Jamia ground Owode -Ilaro road in Ogun state Southwest Nigeria.

The Islamic group came up with a communique as as stated below.

COMMUNIQUÉ OF THE 71ST JALSA SALANA, 2025

Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama‘at, Nigeria held its 71st Jalsa Salana (Conference) between Friday, 19th and Sunday, 21st, December, 2025 at Ilaro, Ogun State, Nigeria. The theme of the holy conference is:

“And Hold Fast, All Together, By The Rope of Allah And Be Not Divided…” (Qur’an 3:104).

Delegations

35,771 delegates from Nigeria, United Kingdom, and Equatorial Guinea, attended the Islamic Conference physically and others joined online via Jalsa Salana Connect TV, under the leadership of Barrister Alatoye Folorunso Azeez, Amir (Head) Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat of Nigeria.

**Global Delegation To The Ahmadiyya Conference 2025 in Nigeria**

During the three-day programme, a total of six lectures were delivered by eminent scholars within the Jama’at. While Professor Sa’eed Timehin delivered the main lecture on Saturday, 20th December, 2025, titled: Unity is Strength: Lessons from Islamic History As A Guide to Current Global Challenges to Muslim Ummah, Professor Mashhud Adenrele Fashola spoke on the last lecture titled: Modern Day Evidence for The Existence of Allah.

Gratitude to Allah and Affirmation of Faith:

The lecturers and other participants of the 71st Jalsa Salana, 2025 express profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for the successful hosting of this spiritually uplifting gathering, which strengthened faith, renewed commitment to Islam, and reinforced the Jama‘at’s devotion to the Holy Qur’an, the Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa), the Imam Mahdi Hazrat Ghulam Ahmad (as) and the Khilafat-e-Ahmadiyya;

Reliance on Allah as the Solution to Global Challenges:

The Jalsa reaffirmed that sincere reliance on Allah (Tawakkul) remains the ultimate panacea to the multifaceted global challenges confronting humanity today, including insecurity, moral decline, injustice, economic hardship, and environmental crises;

Unity as a Divine Command and Source of Strength

Drawing from Islamic history and Qur’anic injunctions, the Jalsa emphasized that unity among Muslims is a divine command and a prerequisite for strength, progress, and peaceful coexistence, while division weakens the Ummah and undermines its moral authority;

Commitment to Peaceful Coexistence and National Development

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama‘at, Nigeria reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to peace, loyalty to Nigeria, obedience to lawful authority, and constructive engagement with people of all faiths and backgrounds for national unity and development, This was also echoed by the Former Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Secretary to the Ogun State Government,

Becoming Righteous Role Models for Future Generations

Participants were urged to consciously nurture future generations through personal examples of piety, truthfulness, moral discipline, and regular prayers, recognizing that character-building begins at home and is vital for sustainable societal reform;

Revival of Prayer and Moral Reformation

The Jalsa (Conference) called on all Muslims to revive the spirit of Salat, sincere supplication, and righteous conduct as essential tools for individual reform and societal transformation in an increasingly materialistic world;

Lessons from the Sacrifices of the Righteous

The sacrifices and exemplary lives of Hazrat Sir Zafrullah Khan Sahib and Hazrat Syeda Nawab Mubaarakah Begum (ra) were highlighted as timeless models of selflessness, steadfast faith, service to humanity, and devotion to the cause of Islam;

Sacrifice as a Path to Divine Pleasure

Members were reminded that sacrifices of time, wealth, abilities, and comfort in the way of Allah are essential for spiritual growth, community progress, and the establishment of justice, compassion, and truth in society;

Modern-Day Evidence for the Existence of Allah

The Jalsa underscored that contemporary scientific discoveries, fulfilled prophecies, personal spiritual experiences, and the order of the universe continue to provide compelling evidence of the existence, power, and mercy of Almighty Allah; and

Call to Hold Firmly to the Rope of Allah

The Jalsa concluded by calling on all Muslims, particularly members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama‘at, to firmly hold fast together to the rope of Allah through obedience to His commandments, loyalty to Khilafat, mutual love, and rejection of all forms of extremism, hatred, and division.
