Consciousness Of Allah
The Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in his inaugural address called on Muslims and members of the Ahmadiyya group to espouse the true teachings of Islam, be conscious of Allah in all dealings. He enjoined all to make special sacrifices to God and pray fervently for the good things of the world and the hereafter.
Tour Of Conference Site
Ahead of the inauguration ceremony, the Ahmadiyya leader visited the Jalsa Salana UK site on Thursday to inspect arrangements and addressed the volunteers working around the clock.
The Ahmadiyya leader visited the kitchens, including the roti plant, butchery, pot washing station and store, took a detailed look at how all these departments are operating and spoke to duty workers.
He then inspected a number of exhibitions, including Humanity First, The Review of Religions, True Islam UK, International Association of Ahmadi Architect and Engineers, IAAAE, ITQA and the Ahmadiyya Archive & Research Centre and Al Hakam, which notably features a model of Qadian this year.
Always remain polite and well-mannered
After this, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V took to the podium to deliver a brief address to the volunteers, urging them to be polite and well-mannered as they have done in previous years.
In his words, “duty is a burdensome task at times and can even lead to edginess, but our volunteers should always remain polite and maintain a smile. Even in departments like discipline that require solemnity, volunteers should always be well-mannered and direct guests with gentleness”.
Emphasis on fire safety
He advised the volunteers that, as the weather is extremely dry and the grass is particularly susceptible to catching fire, they should exercise the utmost caution to prevent accidental fires. He noted that cooking at the bazaar could pose a fire risk if proper care is not taken. Therefore, no unnecessary risks should be taken and all volunteers must remain vigilant and observe all fire safety precautions.
Security Must Be Taken Seriously
While noting that high rate of anti-Muslim sentiment currently, Hazrat Khalifatul Masih said that there is a great need to pay attention to securing the entire Jalsa site.
He prayed that Allah enables all the volunteers to discharge their duties in the best manner and led everyone in a silent prayer.

The Ahmadiyya leader also visited the ladies’ side and spent a significant amount of time at the MTA International compound where he met many volunteers.
