The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM) don receive 13 Nigerians wey dem rescue from human trafficking network for Ghana.
For statement wey come from Abuja, the Chairman/CEO of NiDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, praise the Nigerian High Commission in Ghana for the way dem take organise the safe return of the victims.
Through statement wey Head of Media, Public Relations and Protocols Unit, Abdur-Rahman Balogun sign, Dabiri-Erewa also thank the First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, for always supporting rescue missions with transport and other assistance.
NAPTIP Don Start Reintegration
The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) don start profiling the returnees as part of the normal reintegration process, while NiDCOM provide logistics to make sure say each person reach him or her state safely.

The victims — 11 adults and two small babies wey be four weeks and 16 months old — land Nigeria and dem receive dem on behalf of NiDCOM Chairman by the Head of Operations for Lagos, Mr. Dele Ogunkanbi.
No Go Irregular Migration
Dabiri-Erewa use the opportunity warn young Nigerians to shine their eye well-well against fake job offers and travel promises abroad. She talk say irregular migration dey expose many people to serious danger, exploitation and human trafficking.
According to early report, some of the rescued women and their children dey currently receive medical treatment and mental health support after doctors diagnose serious health issues.
The repatriation exercise na the Acting Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana, Amb. Adeoye, lead am, together with other partner agencies and stakeholders.
Authorities don repeat say government go continue to protect Nigerians abroad, but citizens must avoid risky travel arrangements and always verify opportunities before dem travel go outside the country.
