About the Author
Al-Hafiz Yunus Omotayo is a Hafizul Qur’an (a Memorizer of the entire Qur’an) and studied Islamic Theology at the Jamia Ahmadiyya (Ahmadiyya Institute of Theology and Missionary Training) Ilaro, Ogun State, Nigeria where he graduated in 2006 and inducted as a Missionary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria.
Educational Career
He has also bagged B.Sc Mass Communication at the National Open University of Nigeria. A vibrant Missionary and Journalist, Yunus currently serves as the Office Manager, Muslim Television Ahmadiyya (MTA) International Africa, Nigeria Studios. He is the Publisher and CEO of The Global Outreach Media.
He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Truth Newspaper, the first Muslim newspapers in West Africa since 1951. He has formerly served as National Chairman of the Muslim Writers Guild of Nigeria and Head of the News and Editorial Department of Voice of Islam (VOI), an Online Radio run by Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at of Nigeria.

Yunus is an erudite humble Islamic scholar and prolific writer with special interest in Islamic thoughts and practices and Islam’s perspectives on contemporary issues and the interplay of religion, media and politics in our contemporary time.
Other Publication
His first book titled Memorization of the Holy Qur’an — Merits and Methods, published in 2013, was reviewed in the National Mirror Newspaper , Nigeria as “arguably the first of its kind written in English language by an author from the south western geo-political zone of Nigeria.”
